My Reccomendation in BKK

1) Supanniga Eating Room (Thonglor, Sathorn, and Tha Tien)

When in Bangkok, a visit to the Supanniga Eating Room is a must for anyone who appreciates authentic Thai cuisine with a twist. Whether you choose the Thonglor, Sathorn, or Tha Tien location, you’re in for a treat. The food leans towards the spicy side, making it perfect for those who want to experience true Thai flavors while still being approachable for first-time visitors to Thailand.

My top recommendation is the Mien Yong – an exquisite introduction to the complexity of Thai flavors. The concept of eating leaves was a delightful surprise during my first visit. Don’t miss out on their fried chicken wings; smaller, tender, crunchy, and absolutely delicious, they’re a revelation. For spice enthusiasts, the Gaeng Massaman Nua is a delight.

While all three locations are fantastic, my personal favorite is the Sathorn branch for its cozy vibe. However, the Tha Tien location boasts an amazing view of the temples in the old town, making it worth a visit.

2) 100 Mahaseth Si Phraya

For meat lovers, 100 Mahaseth Si Phraya is the go-to destination. This place stands out for its exceptional Thai-style meat dishes and a truly cool atmosphere. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of the cuts and the unique culinary experience it offers make it worth every baht.

3) Monkey Pod

Escape to Monkey Pod for a serene outdoor dining experience away from Bangkok’s hustle and bustle. The Laotian cuisine, especially the grilled dishes, is exceptional. The Grain Fed Angus Rib Eye Plara and the Klong Phai Organic Chilli Chicken are personal favorites and must-tries for visitors.
